A quaffable, well-balanced red ale with character. Its malty complexity and coppery color come from a combination of two caramel malts, pale malt, and a hint of maple syrup.

Bottle from Beautiful Beers in Bury St. Edmunds. Amber/red, small slightly off white head, good lacing. Substantial malt aroma with sweetness, possibly bolstered by the maple syrup. Hints of spice too. Good mouthfeel, appropriate carbonation. Delicious toffee and malt sweetness, spiciness and a lovely bitter finish. Great autumn beer, especially for the price.

Tastes a lot like some of the IPA’s from the Anchor Brewing Company apart from a much heavier bitter aftertaste. Very nice!

355 ml bottle from Ammersin 5, Vienna.
Dark copper, clear body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Aroma of brown sugar, sweet berries, toffee, bread and the typical, slightly banana like, yeasty notes that are in many Anchor beers.
Tastes of red berries, bread, nuts, bitter citric hops and maple syrup finally.
Medium to full, creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, zesty, bready.

Lovely! Quaffable, quite unique and nicely balanced between sweet and bready malts, bitter hops and the maple syrup. Overall a really accompished beer, that completely looks and tastes of autumn!

>> Pours bright red with thicker beige, rocky foam. Nose is gummy candies, some stale hop resin notes but nothing too offensive, candied orange, fall leaves. Taste is tea, fall leaves, orange peel, hoppier than expected. Not bad at all.

Disclaimer: I love autumn beers. Spicy sweet on the tongue with good carbonation. Light gold/red pour with thin white head.

average frothy (1st) creamy (2nd) offwhite head. good lacing. mostly diminishing. hazy average-density dark orangeish-amber body. aroma: heavy malt, moderate hoppy, grass and orange. if: light sweet moderate bitter. ff: light sweet heavy bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. 35 s
