COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A quaffable, well-balanced red ale with character. Its malty complexity and coppery color come from a combination of two caramel malts, pale malt, and a hint of maple syrup.

12oz bottle pours a reddish copper color with a medium off white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of citrus, caramel, and maple syrup. tastes of the same things with the maple surup and slight hop bite noticable in the back end. mouthfeel is sightlt oily with good carbonation and a semi dry finish. I like the addition of maple syrup to a base west coast red ale. Hoppy and sweet which is nice for a fall ale.

A tall pillowy sand-colored head, upon a shady orangey amber body. Aroma of minty and light citrus-fruity hops, well blended with sweet nutty caramel malts. Surprisingly light-bodied. Slick, almost watered down mouthfeel. Sourish-sweet malt base, nutty and caramelly. Medium bitterness, mint, light resin and some earth/soil tones. Semi-dry, light bitter ending. Drinks ok, but does not stand out in any way. [0,355 l bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika]

Bottle. Amber colour. Malty caramel aroma, more of that in the flavour, along with maple syrup

Aroma of malts, more malts, caramel, hops, slight hint of maple syrup. Flavour is quite malty, thankfully not that sweet, with quite some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice malty brew, but I would have liked a more pronounced maple aspect.

Amber body with a thick white head. Malty aroma with some pine. Maple syrup popped up once the beer warmed up a bit. Sweet taste with a bitter aftertaste. The theme is autumn and they definitely got it right.

Appearance: Hazy amber color with a fine off white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Malty, hoppy, herbal and fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. A bit sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Malty, toffee, mild fruity, marple syrup and a rich hoppy tail. Some alcohol coming up.
Overall impression: Ok tasty amber. Although a bit to sweet for me. Lovely hoppy touch.
Personal stats: Bottle from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden.

355 ml bottle into a pint glass at home. ABV 6% Deep red copper colour, crystal clear body. Tall and thick off-white head, with very good retention, leaving lots of lacing around the glass as it collapses. Nice aroma of grassy hops, pine. Taste is moderate sweet, malty with a light bread character, maple syrup I guess, pine, a bit of citrus as well to break the sweetness down a bit. Bitter aftertaste with good duration. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Nice and tasty, with high drinkability.

From bottle. Clean amber in glass. Thin white head. Big, inviting nose. Caramel. Pecans. And I guess, because I am primed, some maple. Flavor balance is bang on. Good showing from the hops - grassy and a good bitter counterpart to the sweeter malts. Very flavorful for style. Finishes fruity.

Very maple alike in more than two aspects. Nice smell, fine taste and quite refreshing too was.
