COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A quaffable, well-balanced red ale with character. Its malty complexity and coppery color come from a combination of two caramel malts, pale malt, and a hint of maple syrup.

Really pretty beer - great color with a thick head. Nice malty nose, surprisingly with next to no discernible maple scent. Taste was rich and malty, although I didn't detect any of the promised maple - which in my book is a good thing... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good for a red. But tried it because we were told it was supposed too have a rich of maple flavor. It doesn’t. It is slightly hoppy. Decent, but not as stated.

(bottle - 12 oz) Amber pour with a fluffy head. Huge hop aroma with a very light hint of sweetness underneath. Flavor is dry and bitter hops at the start but the light hint of malt and maple lends a soothing characteristic to it. Lightly bitter on the aftertaste.

DAA; Bottle 355 ML. Pours hazy amber with a large creamy, lasting and lacing off-white head. Aroma is heavy malt and caramel, perfumed tropic, pine, citrus and light spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter with a somewhat lasting and light warming finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Lys brun tåkete med lavt hvitt skum. Svært fruktig, sydhavsfrukt og malt lett karamell. Søt smak av karamell og frukter. Kort bitter avslutning.

Sample at World of Beer Easton on 9/3/14. Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, citrus and marshmallow. Malty and marshmallowy flavor with some piney hops in the finish.

Bottle. Somewhat murky amber - orange pour with a nice frothy head. Good looking beer. Grapefruit and caramel malt, some sweetness. Finishes a bit bitter but juicy sweet as well. Cool beer.

Bottle - Pours a clear amber with a fairly big, fluffy head and lacing. Aromas of grapefruit and orange. Flavor is well balanced with aromas continuing. Interesting, well-made, and enjoyable.

33cl bottle. Strong, complex hops palet. Caramel malts, dark roast malts and some sweet sugar. Solid bitter start and a mild hoppy finish. Thick bodied brew. Pours clear dark amber, with creamy head that stays. Beautiful lacing. Another example of a perfect beer.

A red ale like no other is right. Very unique. Shifts between caramel malts, citrusy hops, bread to bitter. All with a light note of maple. Very subtle in the aroma, more in the aftertaste than anywhere else. Really cool brew, both session able and insanely complex. Started good, and got better as it warmed."

I don’t really get much of the maple syrup, but this is a pretty good amber nonetheless. Really quite hoppy considering the expectations from the style.
