Sure it’s well balanced, with some gentle semi-sweet malt notes, more grainy than anything, and some well blended hops, and yes it’s tasty, but nothing extraordinary. I’m sure I’ll enjoy all 6, but will probably forget about it soon after. kseecs16 (874), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Pours an opaque dark brown with a light tan head, nicely laces the glass. Roasted malt, smells like cereal. A hint of hopes seems out of place. A very grainy, bran like flavor. Medium bodied. drloveless (10), Plano, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 6, 2007 This is not what is considered a Bock in the tradtional sense. The Anchor Brewery has taken liberties with the definition of a Bock. Read the commercial description. This beer is fair with too much hop for a bock. I was disappointed! jstraw (758), Chicago, Illinois, USA
