Dark brown with a small head. Aroma is roasted malt, a bit of caramel and some spices. Cinnamon. Nutmeg. The flavor is mild and the mouthfeel is watery. Brown ales always seem to disappoint me by being too watery. Is it just me?

Pours a dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, malts, malts, malts... You got that right, this is a malty brew, with a slight presence of citra hop in the aroma. Noticed caramel, toffee and hops. Very enjoyable Brown Ale.

Bottle shared by Cuso, thank you! Aroma raisin, dried fruit, very nice. Hazy ruby-brown colour. Taste is caramel, light fruity, light light woody. Interesting brew.

Pitch black with no carbonation and a nice big creamy head.
Smell is leather toffee with dark fruit and lightly alcoholic.
Liquorice bitter salty taste with coffee. Dry liquorice finish. Very well balanced and very bitter.

Bottle. Brown/dark amber color with nice and huge creamy head. Aroma of tropical fruits, hops, caramel, malts - lovely. Smooth hoppy, fruity taste with caramel, bread and malty background. Nice balance between bitterness and sweetness. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Very drinkable and refreshing beer. I’m pleasantly surprised.

Dark brown, almost no head. Fruits (citrus), spruce, caramel. Medium-full palate. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Very American-style hoppiness, a nice brown ale with some IPAish characteristics.

I’m an Anchor fan and this beer makes me love them more. Nice Citra hop flavor with malt complexity and not cloyingly sweet. Really like this.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear reddish-brown beer with a huge blonde head. Aroma has hoppy pine, tropical fruits, citrus and grapefruit with nutty and sweet caramelly malts. Taste is not as nice as the aroma, it’s woody dry, nutty, licoricy, citrusy and grapefruity bitter. Mouthfeel is thinner than medium and medium carbonated. Finish is pretty mild and short considering the amount of hop aromas. A pretty nice brown ale but maybe a bit unbalanced

Dark brown with a smallish head. Aroma is sweet malts, syrupy, spicyness, hint of alcohol. Taste is malt all over, a hint of hops somewhere. Mouthfeel a bit light. Finishes with a light bitterness. Rather okay.
