Clear golden body and big bubbly, frothy head that quickly disappears. Apple juice, Dutch cheese and lemon cake. Nice, tantalizing. Smooth, low carbonated body. Feels nice in the mouth, maybe a tiny bit thin. Tasty bitterness but not overly dry so it’s very drinkable. Maybe misses a bit fruity sweetness in the aftertaste. (355ml bottle, 2,25 EUR?)

A good classic Bay Area original... Delicious! This is a widely available ale that is hugely consistent and wonderfully reliable.

Poured a slightly hazy golden with a fluffy white head that left some lacing. Nice floral aroma and slight bitterness, great balance. A well crafted brew and a favorite.

Tap, Tryk Bar, Copenhagen: Slight hazy amber color with small white head. Fruity and floral, lightly toasted and slightly caramel-scented aroma. The flavor is malty with notes of hoppy fruitiness and sunny, soft bitterness. Light body, oily texture, soft to lively carbonation. Medium bitter, dry finish. Still one of the best of its kind.

A nice surprise, a cracking beer! Dark gold colour with a good head, lovely hoppy aroma, gets the mouth watering. Full body, very flavoursome, the Cascade hops really give this a good punch, not too aggressive and not too alcoholic tasting. A real nice find.

Bottle 355ml tasted @ Karhisma Birroteca (Piedimonte Matese, Caserta - Italy). Pale orange, some golden, almost clean texture. Solid two-fingers head, white and creamy. Hoppy pleasant aroma: leaves, citrus, blood orange juice and orange peel in particular. Medium carbonation, fizzy at tongue, over a light body in which malt are really balanced among the all-citric flavor. Finish begins with a little bitter, then grows and leads to grapefruit before ending in a marked harsh sensation. A classic APA, not strong, but a style paradigm for sure.

Pale, golden colooured beer with a white head. It has pineapple, grapefruit, citron and something grassy in the aroma. In the taste, it has grapefruit, too and hoppy bitterness. It ’s definitely a great beer.
