Originally brewed in 1975 to commemorate Paul Revere's ride, this brew is a heavily hopped ale (Cascade hops) with a copper color and a hoppy nose.

Bottle at North Bar, Leeds. Nice bright, slightly hazy yellow. Small but pleasant aroma with hops, citrus and a little bit of pine. Almost floral at points. Medium bodied, with some really nice, bitter hops, a touch of grapefruit and a dry finish. Very nice indeed, but it ain’t no Steam.

Pours a slightly orange, yellow color with a yellow tone white head. The aroma is of citrus and pine. The taste is a funky bitter hop taste. The body was medium at best with a rather nasty bitter aftertaste.Overall the worst american pale ale I’ve ever had.

Frothy head showing some lacing with high carbonation in it. Colour is clear (micro-filtered clear) with yellow to auburn colour. Aromas are restricted, but has a malted profile and floral hops. The palate is as expected, medium bodied, slightly malted and finishes with drying hops and a soap like quality. I think it is a little high in carbonation and I’m really starting to dislike sterile filtration and high carbonation type brews as I think it steals the essence of the brew but it is an enjoyable summer time brew.

Pours a slightly hazy and golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma is of floral hops, some citrus fruits and light pine scents, but overall not a strong aroma. Taste is mildly sweet and grows a little more bitter progressively towards the finish. Medium body, smooth mouth feel and lively carbonation. Overall a good american pale ale.

Aroma coinvolgente con sentori fruttati confermati all’assaggio.
