Aroma coinvolgente con sentori fruttati confermati all’assaggio.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear dark amber with a white head. Quite citric. Loads of hops. Grapefruity, clearly cascade hops. Some caramel flavors too. Medium bodied. Long citric and bitter finish. Quite good.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2011 Light copper colour, cream white head. Aroma of floral hops, grass and citrus on a malty base. Flavour bit sweet and quite bitter. Malts, pine, good hoppy tones. Finish rather dry, slightly bitter and very hoppy.
(Bottle @ Café Jos, Nijmegen)

Rating 21-6, draught
Like the above, while slightly sweeter -younger?- and with more pronounced floral touches, almost like honey
(Draught @ cafe de Kluizenaar, Nijmegen)

Tap. This was a gateway hoppy beer for me and now revisiting it, very much seems tame, but balanced and decent. Bright, lightly hazy orange with two fingers of slightly off-white head. Nice citrus notes that come close to lemony, bit of a crackery malt aroma as well. Decently hoppy, bit soapy at points though. Lighter to medium body with spritzy carbonation.

Bottle. Golden hazy, thick creamy tanned head. Smells of citrus zests and grass, some herbs and spices too. Taste has a clear malt flavor with some sweetness accompanied with citrus. Carbonation is very good and tickles the tounge. Feel is also quite thick. Finish has much hop flavor of citrus, zests and grass. Very good bitterness too. Totally this is an excellent beer

Bottle. Golden amber, slightly cloudy. Fine head. Nice Cascade hop aroma. Mild caramel, light fruitiness. Very well balanced. Citric/piney hops in the aftertaste. My first American beer! (Not counting a Bud made under license in Europe)

Pours a slightly hazy deep shade of golden with a fluffy white head that dissipates to form a cap but leaves lots of lace on the way down. Smells of citrus, caramel, maybe a bit of fruit. Taste is sweet with caramel, slight grain midway followed buy some fruit that seems like pear, lots of citrus to balance it out. Finishes sweet and slightly bitter. Nice nice balance. Body is medium to thick, mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is crisp. Its been a while since I’ve had this one, too long really. I remember trying this 15 years ago and thinking how bitter it was, now I find it incredibly balanced. This is a great beer!

Fresh fruity hop aroma. Lovely looking beer. Clear copper with a thick white frothy head and lace. Crisp flavour, hop bitterness with a smooth texture. Earthy malt notes. Lovely beer.
