3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Probably one of the better pale ales I’ve had... a bit more hops than I expected. Not much to it, but it’s very clean and crisp. Easy.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This bottle poured a slightly cloudy, pale amber liquid. There was a generous creamy white head that dissipated to a small but persistant head that lasted throughout leaving nice lacing on the glass. The aroma of sweet malt is predominant there are also notes of sweet fruit including banana and bing cherry. The initial bitter hop flavor is well balanced with malt sweetness. The middle has a nice mild hop bitterness while the finish has a hint of bubble gum.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2008 [12 oz. bottle] Slightly hazy straw color with a very thin white head. Very well balanced aroma of hops, malt and citrus with a touch of candy sweetness at the end. The taste begins with a very nice hoppy and malt mix with a well balanced malt middle and a slight hint of citrus and hoppy bitterness at the end. Very tasty pale ale.

Bottle. Cloudy dark copper color. Light, white head. Quite hoppy and flavorful. Nice malty taste. Chocolate and citrus hints add to a complex, yet drinkable ale.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy orange/copper, mostly diminishing head. Light sweetness, very malty, with strong underpinnings of pine resin. Finishes rater bitter but well balanced. The aromatic malts are a bit much but overall enjoyable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sparkling gold, creamy white head. Nose was loaded with juicy grapefruit notes, light spruce, some caramel, a hint of breadiness with a clean grassy note undertone. Bitterness is up front with grapefruit being the predominate flavor. Lightly sweetened malt plays a very small backup part and rounds this off nicely. Medium bodied, prickly carboantion, crisp, sahara dry bitter finish. Always a good choice for a session IPA in a pinch...

Not a bad offering, but I would’ve liked a little more complexity to this one. Worth a try.

poured a color very similar to an apple juice color with a big frumpy head.earthy, malty tones filled my nose.the flavors were a combination of malts, hops, ice tea, grass, and earth.the mouthfeel was a little sharp and bitter.overall its ok,not really my thing.
