Paid $8.99 for a six-pack (bottled). Golden-orange color with thin lacing. Fairly carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly hoppy with some fruity characteristics and noticable malt undertones.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium amber clear colour with a small medium lasting head. Attractive fruity nectar and floral hoppy aroma. Smooth to light cream lowish carb body. Intriguing tropical fruit (passionfruit pineapple) floral hops with hint of rosewater flavours. Medium to light dry bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A pleasant mild pale ale. Nothing too exciting here. Some hops, some malt in flavor and aroma. Clean, dry, slightly hoppy finish. Good quality but a little lacking to be considered outstanding.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this one over the weekend. Nice and refreshing, mild nose, little head. Very clear and pale. Taste is not very complex - just a little malt and hoppy flavor, nothing special. Finishes a bit dry, with no aftertaste.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma is fruity, the color is amber and slightly unclear, and it has a small head. THe flavor is malty with the characteristic Anchor yeast, with notes of fruitiness and a good light bitterness. It prickles the tongue slightly. A really good beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. squat brown Anchor bottle. Poured out a deep copper color, with a massive, white head. It slowly faded to reveal a really wonderful beer. Malt aromas galore, along with plenty of Cascade hop aromas, and flavors. Slightly subdued, however. Not over the top like so many other American IPA's. Rich mouthfeel to it, along with some great tasting malts. Spicy, grapefruit like hops bite to it, along with the classic aftertaste of Cascade hops. Easy drinking, and pleasing to the eyes. A classic American IPA in my book.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Classic APA (or IPA depending on how you interpret the specs). Lots of complex flavors and aromas without hitting you over the head like some of the current craftbrewed APA-IPAs (not a bad thing but sometimes my palate craves something less...big). In other words, relatively drinker friendly but with enough complexity to satisfy a discriminating palate.

A wonderful hoppy smell seduces you as you open the bottle.Lovely, lingering hoppy flavours tantalise your taste buds.To my mind a great beer not only has flavour and a great apperance -it is also unique and easily identified. This beer has all those attributes.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Ok, even though there's some dispute whether all the Paul Revere stuff was made-up, this beer certainly is REAL for ME! Smells really nice, looks on the pale side, but the taste is right there! Not TOO hoppy to be sticky. A great drinking brew!
