3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 portableparty (1008) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - FEB 18, 2011
Bottle. Clear amber color with thick tight head. Nose is floral and citrus. Taste is spice and has a biting hop finish. Palate is fizzy and slick with a dry refreashing finish. Solid beer!
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 thicksuds (247) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 11, 2011
Nice golden pour, lots of foam, bready topping, sticks around for a while. Smells fruity. Highly carbonated.
Taste is light and refreshing, citrus flavor, but also a decent body and taste to it as well, with a nice bitter and dry finish as you would expect from a pale ale. Well hopped and very refreshing.
Nice pale ale, well done from a solid brewery I’d get this again.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dan027 (26) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2011
Nice and refreshing. A light hoppy flavor and nice aroma, a great change of pace for your friends who are just starting to sample different varieties of beer. Like all Anchor beers, you feel like you can really taste the hard work that went into brewing it which creates a higher level of appreciation.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 RobertDale (830) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - FEB 4, 2011
12 ounce bottle. Pours a golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of floral and piney hops with some citrus. Tastes of hops, caramel and citrus. A bit dry. Nicely balanced. Could grow to be very fond of this brew.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 EricE (1232) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - JAN 31, 2011
Draft at the 9:30 club. Mediocre beer. Very sweet with a lot of caramel malt. Bitter finish with some grassy hop notes. Very metallic.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 onceblind (1358) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 31, 2011
Sampled at Denver Winter Brewfest 2011. Hazyish yellow gold in color. Smell has some funky hops and a bit of citrus. Yet somehow tastes very malty with the funky hops in the background. And its medium body isnt helping matters. I just can’t find anything about this beer I like. I hate to say it, but it makes me think of what macro-lagers would be if they tried a little harder to make better beer.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2011 Frisk lukt, ganska mörk i färgen. Rund och fin, besk bitter i smaken. Väldigt behaglig besk bitter eftersmak.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 erickomosa (68) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 28, 2011
Opaque orange-y copper. Lasting frothy head. Smells like grassy hops, spicy hops, caramel malts, cereal, meyer lemon. Inviting. Tastes less intensely of hops. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Well-balanced, dry finish with cheerios. Nicely carbonated. Feel a little bamboozled by the aroma.
