3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 prawlie (475) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2011
An orange/blonde beer, a 33 cL bottle from Noble Green Wines into a pint glass. The pint glass dealt to an extend with the promiscouous head. This looks the part. This smells excellent, just the right amount of hops to be tempting but not over-powering. This is a pleasant pale ale, with memories of Little Creatures. Its nice and mild but still has a taste of its own. This is a really good pale ale and worthy of attention. Its a nice change from the blonde and dark beers I prefer and a fine brew in its own right. Enoy.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 goozen (1783) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JAN 28, 2011
Bottle 0,3ltr: Clear orange coloured brew with an quite nice hoppy bitter taste, the mother of American Pale Ale?
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dionysus (1257) - Arizona, USA - JAN 28, 2011
Bottle pours deep amber with a white head. Aroma shows caramel and some floral hops. Flavor shows the same with an additional fruitiness that I can’t quite put my finger on. Overall body is moderate and finishes lightly bitter.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 albertq17 (17) - California, USA - JAN 18, 2011
Nice looking beer. Golden orange color with a nice fluffy head that disappears rather quickly. Lace is good but not spectacular. The aroma is also very good with caramel from the malts and some hop notes. Very smooth taste with malt flavors but the hop sting is definitely there. It seems like every time I take a drink either the sweetness or the bitterness is more prominent. I noticed a little alcohol when I exhaled which was nice. Plenty of carbonation so it was refreshing and the aftertaste hung around but left just at the right time. It really was hard to take notes for this one because I didn’t want to stop drinking it.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Grima (1240) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2011
The beer in glass is orange-yellow, slightly cloudy. The head is thin and flat, looks very good. The smell is hoppy fresh, slightly sour ale-like. Starts hoppy bitter, grainy minimal and subtly sour. The aftertaste is much more hoppy, but the pleasantly bitter and sour note runs completely through.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 DavoleBomb (965) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2011
Poured into a pint glass.
3.5 A: Clear orange yellow color. About one finger of head with a semi-aggressive pour with below average retention and a decent amount of lacing.
4.0 S: Awesome aroma, but could be more pronounced. Smells like a bouquet of flowers and Sprite.
4.0 T: Not a whole lot of bitterness, but the hop flavor (herbal) is very noticeable. A bit grainy, a bit biscuity, and more than a bit fruity, but overall the flavors are weaker than I’d like.
3.5 M: Medium body. Good carbonation, everything’s in order, but nothing’s stellar.
4.5 D: One of the more drinkable beers I’ve come across. Can easily session this.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Hammy78 (441) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 11, 2011
650ml bottle sample. Pours a golden yellow, with a nice white head and nice lacing. Lots of carbonation going on. Aroma is very strongly of hops. The taste is of hops and citrus, lemon and a little orange. Very decent brew.
4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 HonusWagner (767) - Florida, USA - JAN 9, 2011
Orange like dried apricots, leaving ridiculous amounts of lacing. I guess all those years of practice means they’ve got appearance down pat. Very nice nose, notes of citrus, spices, and a bit of apricots, oddly enough. Taste follows nicely, with a very good sweetness that manages to not be cloying at all. This is fantastic stuff, balanced, drinkable. Very nice cascade hop taste in the mid-palate, creating an orange marmalade feel with nice zingy bitterness. Lasting, moderate bitter finish.
