In bottiglia all’Irish; mi ispirava da un po’ e consigliato da Corkscrew ho deciso di provarla. Ottima APA, molto simile alla più famosa Sierra Nevada

Tap during the Anchor tour. Pours a orangish amber. Aroma is spruce, orange peel, yeast, and a bit of sea salt. Flavor is slightly doughy with caramel, spruce, and orange peel. A touch buttery with an overall soft mouthfeel. Nice subtly to the hop profile.

Hazy orange with a puffy, lacy white head. Notes of pear, citrus, florals, and grass form the aroma, while the taste is a nice, refreshing balance between a slight hop bitterness and a light malt sweetness. Smooth and light, but without being watery, this is easily one of the most refreshing full flavored beers I’ve had in a long time.

Taste: floral hops; light hop taste remaining on the finish, some citrus; great balanced from start to finish; all-around awesome
Palate: mild carbonation; fills the mouth with a rich body; crisp finish
Overal: phenomenal beer; everything a pale ale should be
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 lord_totenkopf (167) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 21, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2010 Very strong fragrances that reminds me of the aroma of herbs. The colour is very convinceing along with the yeast and the aroma suggests a full taste experience. The palate meets a very remarkable hoppy and herbs flavour.

Poured into standard pint glass.
I found this brew very classic with a few twinges to make it unique and memorable. Very floral on the nose and the back of the tounge, leaving a delicious tang in aftertaste. I was happy to grab a few of these from a retailer on my way home one day, having not tried this variety of anchor before and was not disappointed. Easily one of the most classic brewers in the US and is an easy grab for a unique take on traditional tastes.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 AndreaDel (56) - Rome, ITALY - DEC 15, 2010
Bottle. Golden almost amber color, a bit cloudy. Medium head. Clean hoppy nose. Clean flavor medium body, nice carbonation, dry finish, not so bitter. I felt a little alchol in the mouth, but maybe it is just this bottle.

Taste-wise, this is probably the best pale ale I’ve had. Outstandingly hoppy without going too intense. Nice floral aroma, medium bitterness, medium thickness. Really really good pale ale, pick this one up if you see it!
