COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally brewed in 1975 to commemorate Paul Revere's ride, this brew is a heavily hopped ale (Cascade hops) with a copper color and a hoppy nose.

One of my favorites - pours nicely, copper color with a modest head. This one tastes just as good out of the bottle as it does out of the pint. A nice pale ale with a healthy dose of good old American hops to give it the kick that makes this my favorite of the Anchor brewery.

Definite hop presence, but not too bitter. Actually, it is very crisp and refreshing. Light copper color, with a full, foamy head.

Hatalmas kedvenc!

Pours a deep golden color with a huge froathy white head. Almost creamlike head. Aroma is piney, grapefruity. Mostly piney. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation with huge biterness in the aftertaste. Even though the beer is somewhat sweet, it is still very balanced. Overall an enjoyable beer.

Despite it’s relatively plain, old-fogey label, it’s refreshingly hip and impressive. This is a beer that pretty much anyone should enjoy (regardless of gender). Pours a pretty bright, glowing light orange color with a frothy off-white head. This is really a beautiful beer. You can almost smell grapefruit before you even put your nose to the glass. The aroma reminds me of something I haven’t smelled in a very long time. It almost reminds me of camping with old, worn equipment and canvas tents. I know, sounds weird, but it’s inviting. Sweet, rustic and inviting, it has a gorgeous aroma. Flavor is light and fruity but with a nice bitterness in the finish felt under and on the sides of your tongue. This is a great summer beer. It’s a beautiful pale ale with a really nice fruity character. A very well-balanced beer. This would be great with some crackers or a sweet deli sandwich on rye or pumpernickel. Smooth, almost creamy in the mouth, Delicious! I’d drink this more often if I remembered to.

G: Poured into a pint glass. A: Goldish-amber in color with a good white head with plenty of lacing. S: Smell of malts and hops. Some caramel notes go along with a slightly citrusy and floral hop nose. T: Somewhat of a letdown after the initial smell. Much of the smell is there in the flavor department, but I’m not getting as much from the hops as I’d like. M: Medium-boded and a good amount of carbonation. D: Good feel and smell, but the taste comes up a little bit short. A solid brew, and one that I’ll definitely try again.

Fantastic pale golden and cloudy ale. Moderate in carbonation. Maybe some caramel and little fruitiness. Just a good ale to enjoy at any time.

Basically looks like honey but not as hazy. Obviously honey does not have a head like this though. Hoppy and fruity aroma with a hint of honey. Hoppy, bitter, sweet and fruity flavour.
