Citrus in the nose, balanced hoppiness that opens to a clean and crisp, mildly-malty American Pale. One of the best examples of this style of beer out there.

LCBO bottle. Murky Gold with thick white head that coats glass as it thins. Nice hoppy aroma. Very dry, bitter, bubbly hoppy, almost creamy taste. Very dry bitter after-taste. Inconsistent taste as I am finding with some of the bitter hop ales (Rogue Brutal comes to mind). Last few I’ve had have blended well.

Beer pours a cloudy gold with a thin head. Smells of hops and citrus. Finishes fruiy with a nice bitterness. Not too bitter, but just right. Good stuff.

650mL bottle from the LCBO. Pours gold. Nice white head. Very malty and very well balanced. I’d happily drink it anytime. My mother says it’s reminiscent of Molson Golden as it was 25 years ago.

Fairly light orange-copper pour and nice little foamy head. Orange, hops, and a little metallic bite on the nose. Nice hop bitterness and great lingering flavor. This beer just screams freshness to me, which is why I like it so much. Probably also some sense memory in that it was the first beer that took me beyond the big guys (Sam Adam’s, Pete’s Wicked) when I first started drinking beer 10 years ago. This was the one that made me really start paying attention. Great beer.

(Dégusté avec french tickler) Une bière gold en couleur, un collet bien garni et mousseux. Arome de zest d’orange, épinette et de poivre. Saveur équilibré, gout d’orange et de citron avec un soupcon de sel. Une bonne biere a considérer!

Bottle, 12 fl. oz. Pours a orange beer with a nice white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus and fresh. Cascade hops. Nice balanced flavor with fruity taste of hops, fresh and citrus. Nice refreshing mouthfeel, and overall a good beer.

Shared with Pyrozoid. Slightly hazy golden poor with a nice thin frothy off-white head. Aromas of orange and lemon zest, celery salt, pepper, nicely hopped and smells fresh. Grainy, medium body, slightly overcarbonated. Flavors are peppery, orange zest, spruce... Not to bad overall...
