My faith in pale coloured ales is restored. My 2nd American beer, after Goose Island IPA yesterday. Pours golden with a fluffy white head that goes after about 10 minutes. Floral and citrus nose, bit of a pineapple. Quite malty, earthy hops in there. In the mouth its a medium carbonation but quite a nice mouthfeel. Dry finish. Very pleasant indeed.

Bottle. Pours copper with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is floral, citrus, slightly earthy hops and some caramel. Flavor is more of the same. Wonderfully balanced, drinkable, and very tasty. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Still a great beer.

13/12/2011 355ml bottle @ Klaas’ place - BB: 6/2013 (2011-707)
Thanks to Klaas for sharing the bottle!

Clear light orange beer, small creamy head, unstable. Aroma: some yeast, smelly feet, fruity (pineapple), spices, bit cheesy. MF: light carbon, light to medium body. Taste: citrus, bitter takes over, somewhat cheesy, ripe to rotten fruit. Aftertaste: fruity, citrus, hoppy ending.

Bottle. A nice American Pale Ale. Crisp and balanced. Malt flavors overshadow the hops just a bit. Medium bitterness from start to finish. Dry finish.

Poured into a pint glass. Had a very nice head with medium and small bubbles that lasted a good time. Has a great light golden hue. Aroma - Slightly citrusy, wheaty. Nice malty flavor. A bitter and slightly spicy aftertaste. Light to medium body. Carbonation was average. Overall pretty good for a summer ale. The spiciness would be great with the proper pairing.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2011 Aroma: floral, citrus. Appearance: golden, orange, hazy, white foam, minimal head. Taste: medium bitterness up front, stronger bitter/dry aftertaste but in a really good way (grassy), no typical IPA sweetness. Palate: medium feel, lively, long bitter finish. Overall: really good beer.

From Bottle. Pours golden with decent white head. Hoppy aroma, floral and citrus. Taste is similar with a caramel malt backbone. Quite thin. Decent overall
