Pours quite a bit lighter than the Steam. Nice head and good lacing.
Smells a little hoppy as well as bready. Pleasant aroma.
Nice pleasant tasting beer. Nothing spectacular. Good smooth beer.
I liked this one. I could easily drink several. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA

Could use a little more hops to make it better. Easy on the palate and a medium-bodied. Very average beer. imdownthepub (5192), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Bottle conditioned, 355ml, From Sainsburys, Banbury. Clouded orange amber with slight head. Quite disappointed in this, not as hoppy, sharp as I expected, really fairly flabby. Sweetish malty base to the beer with a tea like slightly boiled, over extracted hop almost to oilyness. Vanilla, orange in the background flavours. Just about ok. jmo32087 (28), USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 14, 2008 A good example of an American Pale Ale, perhaps this should be the type example. Pours orangish copper with a huge eggshell head. Fresh with malt forenotes and bit of hop notes on the finish. Not a hop head beer, but well balanced. Available yesterday in Panama at Riba Smith, but my guess is that this won’t last. KimJohansen (7308), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 9, 2008 12 oz. with a bottle code date of 0LT2 ; bottled sometime in 2000.Sampled Oct.2003. From the cellar.
Pours a red / bronze hue with a massive tan colored head. Has a mild but fresh floral smell. Taste is caramel, vanilla sweet with a mildly bitter citrus flavor lingering in the background. Medium bodied with a very smooth , creamy mouthfeel. Highly drinkable for the glass was empty before I could savor the last bottle of this six pack from y2k. Should’ve done a vertical tasting with a " fresh " Liberty.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 7, 2008 Tap. Copper pour with small head. Light hpps flavor. Another Session in my opinion. I haven’t found many Session beers, they seem to be the best at it. Very slight fruity flavor, not overpowering. Very clean and refreshing.
