3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 SorenE (168) - , NEW ZEALAND - MAY 25, 2009

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 savnac (1467) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - MAY 22, 2009
22oz bottle. Mellow hop aroma followed by a bready malt base. Golden in color with lots of bubbles and a thick white foamy head. Very nice balance of sweet and bitter with the bitter winning out in the end. Medium to light bodied with an almost creamy mouth feel, crisp due to the active carbonation. This is a great easy drinking ale that is true to style.

A 22oz bottle. The beer poured a cloudy dark yellow with a cremy head. The smell is of hops and citrus but not over powering. Nice taste of hops that is not strong with a clean crisp finsh. good carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 OliverG (253) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 12, 2009
Très bonne A.P.A raffraîchissante. Offre des arômes de fruits et d’houblon. En bouche, elle est légèrement piquante et offre une saveur bien définie de houblon.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 clcontact (18) - South Dakota, USA - MAY 10, 2009

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 cazort (456) - Newark, Delaware, USA - MAY 10, 2009
(Bottle) Clean, crisp, light, cool. The aroma doesn’t strike me as terribly complex when I just smell it, but when I start drinking it a lot of complexity emerges. Pleasantly dry, very bitter, just the right kind of carbonation to balance the aroma. A hint of sourness but none of the unpleasant type. A rich, coarse maltiness. This is the second-best American Pale Ale that I’ve tried...surpassed in my opinion only by Great Lakes’ Burning River, although that is a very different beer (this beer is more dry and has less citrusy/fruity character of the hops).
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hallinghansen (888) - Odense SV, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2009
Bottle at cafe Gertrud, Odense. Hazy golden body, with a medium head. Aroma is grape, pine and hops. Flavor is the same. Mild bitterness. Nice beer.
