Originally brewed in 1975 to commemorate Paul Revere's ride, this brew is a heavily hopped ale (Cascade hops) with a copper color and a hoppy nose.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance has a hazy orange/yellow colored body with a fluffy yet lumpy white head. The head slowly left after a minute. Barely any lacing was left. A fair amount of bubbles rose quietly to the surface. The smell has the hops in front and some citrus slightly in the background. The taste is balanced between the hops and citrus getting sweet as it warms and shows its presence in the aftertaste. The palate is medium bodied, balanced, crisp, with a bitter aftertaste and finish. Overall, this is a pretty good American IPA for me. I could definitely do this again, but my tastes aren’t necessarily into the strong hops as most hopheads may find this one a bit mild.

355ml butelka. Delikatne aromaty banana, agrestu, miodu i metalu. USTA : delikatnie gazowane o wodnistej konsystencji. Oleiste. Piwo jest mało słodkie, wytrawne o mocno podkreślonej goryczce. Trochę przypomina tosta z angielską konfiturą z pomarańcza ale bez cukru. Delikatnie pikantne o nutach estrowo-chmielowych. Ciekawe i orzeźwiające. OCENA : smak : 7/10 piajlność : 7/10

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Yellowish-orange pour with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, wet grass, and damp pale malt. Great, balanced flavor of tangerine, grapefruit rind, and sweet malt. Easily quaffable appealing to several palate types. A classic APA.

Technically this is an IPA but in a blind taste you wouldn’t guess it is. Definitely leans to the mild side with taste and aroma, but overall delicious! I could session this beer a lot easier than I could with the rest of the Anchor Catalog, but with the alcohol content at 5.9% I wouldn’t need to down a whole 6 pack to get a load on. Will definitely be drinking again

Golden. Not much head - fizzy. Tastes of hops - herbs and citrus. Bitter, just enough to quench thirst. Light body, creamy.

This great American Ale comes with a grannie aroma and a golden brown colour. The light but crispy flavour on the tongue and lingering palate leaves it to be something to savour and enjoyed time and time again.

A very fine pale ale indeed, I rate it alongside Sierra Nevada APA as one of my favourites. Brilliantly balanced floral hop with an orangey malt taste. Nothing is too over powering but there is enough there to keep you interested. Brilliant!

Light amber color, malty aroma with some yeast. Taste is similar with some dry hoppiness. My less favorite beer from Anchor until now.
