355 ml. bottle. Pours a small head, that doesn’t hold much, though it leaves some lace. Smell of tropical fruits, citrus, hops, spices, pine.Medium body and salty palate, the taste is just as the aroma: tropical fruits, spices, citrus and pine.

12oz bottle. No code date visible. Appearance: Hazy light golden. Nice white foam cap. Aroma: Bready with light citrus. Taste: Bready, sweet malt that gives way a light citrus a moderate bitterness. Bitterness is not nearly as sharp as Sierra Nevada Pale. Grapefruit is very prominent. Mouthfeel: Moderate body and carbonation. Finish: Leaves a pleasant grapefruit flavor and lingering bitterness. Overall: compared to Sierra Nevada Pale, this is a better balanced, less hop forward pale ale. A really nice easygoing pale ale. Could stand to benefit from a slightly stronger hop aroma.

12oz bottle from Masuyo’s Liquor in Asagaya. Poured into an English pint glass. Beautiful golden amber color with an off-white soapy head. Great lacing throughout. Nice citrus and resin on the nose. Slightly earthy and malty on the palate along with the citrus notes mentioned before. Nice medium body and perfect dry finish. An all-around classic APA.

This beer pours a mildly hazy golden color with a thick creamy white heat that left plenty of lacing around the glass and has lots of streaming bubbles. The aroma is mostly floral hops, pine, earthy hops, citrus, and some breadiness. The taste is mostly hops but not pine, some citrus, caramel, and breadiness. The mouthfeel is on the medium side and it finishes rather dry.
