| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Hazy orange, compact head, some retention. Aroma of caramel, citrus and pine. The malt sugars are quickly replaced by a honest bitterness (citrus and green olive pits) and it finishes fairly dry. The finale has good length. Nevertheless, the finish could be more precise. Medium to round bod. I have to precise I feel my sample is not so young, yet a good appetizer.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 7, 2010 From 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy brown / orange. White head that quickly diminished. Major citrus on the nose. Tastes sweet malt underneath huge citrus hops, with a nice bitter finish. A favourite. BeerChaser0078 (391), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 5, 2010 Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a fluffy white head that lasts a while. Aroma is hoppy and a little funky with notes of lemon sherbet, caramel, mint and pine. Flavour is more malty, while still having a good hop presence, and has notes of grapefruit, lemon, caramel, vanilla and wood. Mouthfeel is crisp, almost sharp, with reasonably high carbonation and a medium to long dry and bitter finish. Not the most stereotypical APA but very nice all the same and quite well balanced. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 4, 2010 12 oz single from Holiday. Golden yellow (amber) with quickly dissapating head but resilient lace. Nose is malty/yeasty. Bit o’ sweet ala grape. Taste is fruity bitter. Longer fruity/floral lingers. It’s beer. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 2, 2010 Pours orange with a nice snow white head. Nose is quite expressive but not in the way I thought. Has some honey, vanilla & mild peach/apricot but very mild, most dominant is spicy hops. Absence of citrus/pine pretty suprising, though not unwelcomed. Palate seems more traditional, floral & spicy hops, almost a little dry grassy...noble hops? Finishes with those aforementioned hops bringing a med bitter spicy finish. Nice & cleansing, maybe good alternative to EPA or pils, though not overly exciting. twistedviews (70), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 1, 2010 got a little bit of carmel and orange aftertaste, pale yellow look, hoppy, pretty good... little over average. jonno (609), Brisbane, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Looks a treat but is a bit one dimensional in the mouth, particularly for the high ABV. The liberty hops are well balanced with the malt and it’s easy drinking, just not the most exciting beer in the world. joeneugs (372), Livermore, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Pours pale yellow with a huge creamy off white head. The aroma is hoppy with caramel and orange. A little pine, some banana and plum. The flavor is mild with fruits and some strong earthy hops in the finish. Biscuity at the end. Very light bodied. I love this APA.
