Hazy orange, compact head, some retention. Aroma of caramel, citrus and pine. The malt sugars are quickly replaced by a honest bitterness (citrus and green olive pits) and it finishes fairly dry. The finale has good length. Nevertheless, the finish could be more precise. Medium to round bod. I have to precise I feel my sample is not so young, yet a good appetizer.

12 fl oz bottle. Clear yellow-orange with creamy white head. Some lacings on the glass. Fruity aroma of lemon, orange, mango and grapefruit. Low carbonation. Bitter and dry finish. Overall a good beer. Very refreshing, easy to drink.

"not as big with the citrusy hop aroma or flavor as i’d expect. pretty thin on the palate, but not a bad beer. there are just much more intriguing pales out there"

Well balanced and extremely tasty! A little bit more residual sweetness is the only thing keeping it from a near perfect score.

Liberty ale is a classic, however compared to other American pale ales I didn’t find it so exciting. Maybe it was revolutionary when it came out, but now its hop profile seems quite subdued. Shared bottle at Plonk.

What more can you say. Sweet, mild, and hoppy. A personal fave. Break it out on the 4th of July.

Butelka 0.33L.
Wygląd: Złote, klarowne z iskrą. Piana biała, obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa, trwała i ładnie firankuje na ściankach szkła.
Aromat: Aromat chmielowy słodki: dojrzałe mango, pieczone jabłko, żywica do tego toffee. Bardzo przyjemny.
Smak: Delikatne, głównie słodowo, biszkoptowe, lekko owocowe z niewielką grejpfrutową goryczką. Minimalnie metaliczne.
Odczucie: Nasycenie CO2 powyżej średniego, faktura kremowa, ciało poniżej średniego.
Całość: Bardzo delikatne piwo, klasyczne APA, co na obecne standardy bardzo mało chmielowe. Wybitnie pijalne.

Pours a slightly hazy golden. Smells earthy with a mixture of fruits. Pretty carbonated. Somewhat bitter and dry. Tastes are similar to the aromas, but more muted.

355ml bottle from LCBO, Toronto, ON. Pours a hazy dark gold colour with one finger of foamy white head. Flowery aroma with notes of spice and some oranges. A very pleasent IPA-like taste. Not as bitter and spicy as your average American Pale Ale. It’s smooth and refreshing. Lacing clings to the side of the glass. Moderate carbonation.
