COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally brewed in 1975 to commemorate Paul Revere's ride, this brew is a heavily hopped ale (Cascade hops) with a copper color and a hoppy nose.

Bottle.Cloudy look. Pours a great head that thins a little. Taste is decently balanced with bitterness and cascade hops, with a great hoppy finish.

The aroma is fruity, the color is amber and slightly unclear, and it has a small head. THe flavor is malty with the characteristic Anchor yeast, with notes of fruitiness and a good light bitterness. It prickles the tongue slightly. A really good beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Amber coloured ale, slightly hazy wirth a pretty thin head. Has all the typical ale-charachteristics with caramel and a scent of flowers. Pronounced, dry hoppiness.

From tap at Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden orange with a little lacing and white head. Hoppy and light malt note in the aroma. Flavour is spiced, hoppy and with a dry caramel malt base. Fruity hoppy finish, goes dry.

Orange coloured. Dry with citrusy hop aroma and nice, big, lingering bitterness, but still manages to be balanced.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2007 Draught. Golden colour, huge white foamy head, lacing. Strong hoppy aroma with notes of berries (rowanberries + some sea buckthornish notes). Flavour is bitter rowanberries and hoppy. Not much aftertaste. 6 3 6 3 11

Bottled (5.9%, re-rate Feb 2007): Hazy dark orange colour, mediumsized off white bubbly/foamy head. Aroma is toffee, fruity and flowery hops with slight hints of alcohol. Flavour is grass, strong hoppyness and some glueishlike sweetness. Strong grassy aftertaste. 7 3 6 3 13

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2005 Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit and grass, with notes of malt. Malty flavour with lots of hops and notes of grapefruit and caramel . Bitter finish. Nice.
