This has a light amber hue similar to a kolsh style lager. It’s hoppy texture on the palate lets me know that its got a little something extra. I had it poured from a tap and the head remained a thin white disc atop its head. Tasty and refreshing.

This is one of the west coasts best. Excellent Bitter finish. Balanced between light as lager and hefty as an ale. Next to IPA Lagunitas best Bay Ale.

Deep golden, slight haze, good head retention. Good hop aroma, slight malt presence, slightly sweet, very fruity and clean. Great balance of malt and bitterness. Some diacetyl and caramel in flavor. Definitely a fine AIPA.

Another fine brew of the Anchor Brewing Company. Dare I say... It’s almost taking over in sales and popularity from the Steam beer? Who cares, it’s a great beer and not one that should be pasted over.

Refreshing, lively beer with a lovely but not overpowering grapefruity aroma. IPA is my favorite style, however this "American Pale Ale" is my go-to beer at home for session drinking or to accompany food. Many IPA’s have more hoppy aroma, more bitterness, more this or more that, but they get overbearing after 1 or 2, or they can overwhelm a meal. This is the ideal "baseline" beer for me. Should not disappoint IPA lovers, it is not bland by any means, and has way more hoppy flavor than Anchor Steam or Sierra, for example.

Bevuta alla spina.profuma coinvolgente luppolata ma non in maniera esagerata la struttura risulta molto ben bilanciata e in bocca il gusto persistente ne fa una birra eccezionale .da provare !!

Poured from bottle at 42.2F. Head existed slightly for a moment but fully dissipated. Not really a strong smelling ale. Harsh to my personal palate. Cloudy liquid with a honey color. Flavor was woody, oaky? which is more welcome in a wine for my tastes. The plus was that as the ale warmed to 50F, the flavor mellowed to a more drinkable brew for me.

This beer tasted like they had poured medicine in it, very odd flavour. Not a very nice beer. I would rather have a bud.
