3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Citrus in the nose, balanced hoppiness that opens to a clean and crisp, mildly-malty American Pale. One of the best examples of this style of beer out there.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2007 Light, clear, and sweet smelling. Very bitter hoppy punch yet light, wet, and touch of grapefruit.
[next to a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (bottle)]
the Sierra is richer, darker, more malty. Both excellent.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
poured a clear golden-copper color with a small white head. The nose was citrusy hops, with a hint of orange peel and flowers.
The taste is of hops and bread, with a little bit of citrus in the aftertaste. The palate is pretty smooth, a little watery, but not too bad.
All around not a bad ale. I probably won’t return for more, but I’d recommend it to friends!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A sweet yet hoppy pale ale. Pours a clear golden yellow with an amazingly fluffy white head. A sweet malt and hop aroma that can be smelled from the bottle when opened. A lot of aroma on this beer. A sweet taste at first then ends up hoppy. This has some sweet fruit favors hidden in there. Finished with a great bitter aftertaste. A good example of a Pale Ale. I will buy this again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Big bottle pour, billowy off-white head thins slowly, hazy golden color. Aromas of hops, light citrus, field hay. Flavors of very prominent bitter hops, lemon tones, light sweet malts. Palate/mouthfeel is on the heavy side with long lingering tastes and aromas. A good brew, need a cheeseburger and fries with this one.
