I enjoyed this IPA. very refreshing. Definite pine-hop presence. The finish is bitter, but still pleasant. Good stuff

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is pretty tame for an IPA. The malt balances things out quite well. The grapefruit (cascades) is obvious. Very grassy/Earthy.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12-oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours orange with a huge white frothy head. The head sticks around for the whole beer leaving pretty good lacing. The aroma is pretty bland, a little bit of piney hops, with a slight grainy aroma. Taking a drink the first thing I get is citrus hops, some grapefruit and orange. There is a grainy and straw like maltyness coming through also. In the end there is a pretty diecent bitterness that lingers in the back of the tounge. The body is light to medium with a dry and watery texture and lively carbonation.

Amber color, strong/heavy hop concentration, malt is borderline bread tasting. One of Anchor’s top offerings.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
355 ml bottle. Pours a light cooper with a course white head. Fruity citrus nose with a floral touch. Sharp initial hop bite transitions to a slightly timid malt profile. Medium body. Clean finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very appetizing. All about hops. Peppery, grassy hops, resins, grapefruit, pine in the nose, with just a touch of honeyish malt aroma. Oily texture. Very bitter. Bread-like malt, then grassy, citrusy, resiny, olive bitterness and a long, bitter, dry, moreish finish.
Overall:Excellent. A hophead’s beer, and one of my all-time faves. Two thumbs up!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cor laranja. Boa formação de espuma. Persistente. Aroma com um pequeno dulçor de malte e bem cítrico, um pouco floral. Limão no aroma também. No sabor, pouco amargor, pouco dulçor. Amargor com baixa pra media persistência no final. Uma cerveja leve, fácil de tomar, refrescante. Boa cerveja.

12oz. Bottle. I can smell hops as I pour this…nice golden amber clear brew, with a decent head. Aroma is great; fresh, crisp and hoppy. Taste is as it smells; lotsa hop character, but not smack ya in the tongue intense. Very well done.
