Bottle - Pours a deep gold with an enormous head that retains wonderfully. Perfect look. Smells of yeast, pineapple, and grassy hops. I love this taste. This is the type of beer that I crave. Nice mellow hoppy bitterness, with no bad aftertaste. Nice and creamy smooth. Beautiful and tasty. Recommend.

Pours a nice gold with solid white head and descent lacing. Aroma is nice some bready notes along with some citrus and bitter tones from the hops. Flavor is balanced but fairly hoppy for a standard IPA, a little bitter but still tasty.

Very hoppy, tangy. I honestly don’t think I could tell the difference between it and SNPA - like them both a lot.

A nice American IPA, not overly hopped like some west coast IPAs but done tomeet more commercial tastes. Clean and refreshing on a hot summer day. My favorite Anchor brew.

Nice froth head with very slight lacing on a mildly cloudy orange pour. Perfumey hops in the aroma. GREAT citrusy (grapefruit) hops with some bitter piney hints in the flavor as well. Pretty nice APA.

(Bottle) Pours hazy golden orange with discrete white head. Massive notes of the used cascade hops dominate the taste of this beer. Notes of haye, citrus and sweet malts are present as well. Indeed a great beer!

Aroma: Sweet tarts candy, citrusy hop character straw and clover honey Flavour:Assertive bitterness but balanced with malt character and citrus American hop flavour. Clean maltiness with no esters from the fermentation process. Mouthfeel: Fluffy, light medium body Appearance: Copper gold with a fluffy head leaving a good belgian lace in the glass. Overall: Great balance between malt, hop flavour, aroma and bitterness. No esters, clean and assertive. A great beer.

Light, copper, and translucent. Citrusy nose. The hop/malt balance is nice. Refreshing.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2007 Light amber beer with a nice balance of malt and hops. Somewhat sour flavor at the end though turned me off somewhat. A decent brew that is rather expensive in NJ. Will chose others over this.
