Botella de 12 fl.Oz en casa. Excelente cerveza. Color ambar claro, con una densa y persistente corona de espuma. Entrada suave en boca pero regusto amargo, muy amargo para ser una Pale Ale. Deliciosa!!!!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Yet again Anchor serves up quality - bought this along with the Christmas Ale on my recent trip to the beer store - Appearance - the head is a warming introduction - impeccable quality about all Anchor beers is the tight, foamy and enduring head. Taste - hops on hops - to me this tastes better than SNPA - but only slightly. Overall - I tend towards more malty brews, but I do have a hoppier beer from time to time - this would have to be the beer of choice, - only bad thing is its limited in availability and costs $8.99 a six!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Generous white foamy head with nice amber color. Powerful bitterness generated by hops. Subtle fruits and spices: A fine ale for election day!

Bottle. Strong orange/grapefruit citrus hop nose. Bright, clear copper colour with dense, white head that lasts nicely. Nicely balanced between hops and malt. Lasting grapefruit bitterness. A hint of diacetyl that is not altogether unpleasant. Good carbonation and crisp mouthfeel. Surprisingly well balanced and rather enjoyable.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2012 Aug 6 2012. 330ml bottle pours cloudy apricot amber with an inch bubbly head that settles to thin cap leaving slight lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, doughy caramel, tropical fruit, floral elements too. First sip makes evident this should be an American IPA. Great hops bite! Taste is caramel biscuit malt, fruity hops, with a grapefruit kick and strong bitter finish. Medium-bodied with good balance and natural carbonation. A great beer with unexpected kick!!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a beautiful golden with copper hues, capped of by a smooth creamy white head. Aroma was floral and hoppy. The flavor was excellent; full and hoppy, but complex. My first impression was that it was a relatively sweet beer, but each sip brought increased dryness and bitterness. A bitter finish, and full of flavor. Very smooth mouthfeel, which I really liked. A highly enjoyable IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dry, floral hoppy aroma. Very clear gold pour. Very smooth taste, malty, citrus, grassy flavors with a healthy yet smooth bite at the end. Light body but full flavor, a bit on the dry side. Lingering hops are very clean.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a darker gold with white head. Citrus, bitter aroma that is quite strong. Initially like biting into a grapefruit, like drinking an IPA. Finish is still mainly bitter. Medium palate. Not a favorite, but not bad quality.

Quite tame really. I really don't know what to think about this. I don't think I would drink this again. Its too mild to be an IPA but too hoppy to be on the level with "Steam"
