Draugt at Ølmolevitten, Aarhus. Heavy cascade hoppy aroma. Touch of elderflowers. Creamy god mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Heavy bitter flavor, average finish. Exstremely dry texture. A very nice beer.

Aroma of piney hop, don’t detect citrus. Darkish gold color with a decent white head that has a bit of staying power. Starts with a bit of citrus, then pine, malt is in the mix, but this is a substantial mouthfeel with hop. Well balanced. Not your NW hophead treat.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2003 Bottled: I liked this one. Great aroma and appearance. The flavour is dry and refreshing and has a little spicy touch.

hopscotch (7522) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 26, 2002
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2003 Aroma is malty, fruity and just slightly pungent. I like it. Clear, amber color with a small, fully diminishing white head. Great, synergetic combination of flavors to thrill the tastebuds. Good n malty, but hopped for perfect balance. Slightly acidic and a tad earthy. Full, creamy mouthfeel. Finishes crisp, clean and dry... just a hint of sourness. Really good beer.

imdownthepub (7461) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2008
Bottle conditioned, 355ml, From Sainsburys, Banbury. Clouded orange amber with slight head. Quite disappointed in this, not as hoppy, sharp as I expected, really fairly flabby. Sweetish malty base to the beer with a tea like slightly boiled, over extracted hop almost to oilyness. Vanilla, orange in the background flavours. Just about ok.

(35.5cl bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a short but stable, almost white foamy head. Citrousy hoppy and zesty aroma with an aromatic pale malty background. Bitter flavour with a light sweet edge, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Fruity (grapefruit) and malty taste with a tinge of caramel; dry, quite bitter and fruity finish with a neat, slightly floral hop-bite.

Bottle. Poured a dark amber color with medium tan frothy head that diminished slowly. Aroma was pleasing hoppy. Flavor was all ale with a long hoppy finish. Good brew.

pivnizub (7225) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 28, 2007
Bottle: Unclear, bigger, slowly collapsing off-white head, deep golden, sweet-malty, yeasty-fruity nose with a very distinctive resinous, grapefruity hoppiness and the faintest touch of alcohol; drier, robust bitter flavour, medium bodied; subtle citrousy fruitiness in the dryish juicy-malty, but mainly, mainly resinous, citrousy hoppy finish. Good, awesome hoppy stuff..........

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2006 A Mes rate: Wonderful light amber/dark blonde looks. Rocky head that settles slowly to a thin film which then lasts until you are finished. Strange dusty aroma with hints of builders putty. Even stranger almost minty flavour. More specifically spearmint. Drinkable but personally I dont see what all the fuss is about. (3.1) Re-Rate: Considering I slated this the first time I rated it I figured I should make amends. It’s actually very good. Nose is great. Lick of alcohol, plenty of hops plus a bit of biscuit and caramel. A soapy twang but I’ll let it slide. Flavour still has that odd minty note but I do like it. It is one of those beers where you can taste all the ingredients quite individually and clear as day. Often this makes it run of the mill but here it really works. A great palate and a very moreish crisp hop finish. Much better than I originally stated. Oh and it is also much better when it is not over chilled which could account for my original rate.
