Very well balanced ale; but w/ a malty sweetness. Enjoyable & thirst quenching. Finishes more smooth w/ less hops...eazy. Need to pick up a 6pack more often.

Draught @ Waterfront Ale House. Faintly cloudy dark orange with small creamy off-white head, lightly hoppy sroma, slightly sweet hoppy taste, lavender flavor, orange peel, medium carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, long bitter finish. Very smooth and drinkable.

Bottle @home. I’ve had this one several times before. Pours golden/orange medium body, small but lasting off-white head. Rich hops aromas, orange, tangerine, citrus, sour fruit peels. Hints of malt, but hops prevail. Earthy aromas, a strong presence of citrusy sourness, bitter and dry finish, sour aftertaste. Medium, lively carbonation. Not my favorite one from Anchor, still an overall good one. Balanced and refreshing.

Pours rust coloured with golden highlights; the head is off white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: toffee, grapefruit zest, and apricots. The taste is light bitter;there are notes of: butter, grapefruit zest, cereal, toffee, and a floral character. The palate is medium light bodied with light carbonation and a medium finish. Overall, it’s meh.

Light orange color, thin and quickly dissipating white head - Aroma: Light fruity aroma, hints of flowers and resin, citrus hops, biscuits and corn / grains in the aftertaste - taste is slightly sweet an bitter at first and gets more bitter towards the end, resulting in a rather dry finish - medium to full body, creamy, maybe even frothy, nevertheless crisp and fresh texture, average carb.

Flesje gekocht @Albert Heijn (!). Goudgeel bier. De geur is vrij hoppig, maar smaakt meer naar een bitter pils, maar dan een pils met een body! Hoppig, bitter, metalig en wat fruit. Een lekker American Pale Ale.

Was brewed the first time in 1975 to mark the 200th anniversary of Paul Revere’s famous ride in 1775, which marked the beginning of the American Revolutionary War. Paul was a member of the Sons of Liberty, I don’t know what the horse was called, but it must then have at least 50% of the credit for the ride, which, as you know was the beginning of America’s independence from the Britains. Very complexed floral aroma and slightly aroma of resin. Tastes a little sharp of hops in the beginning, but develops into a gentle sweetness, balanced with fruity flavors and dry finish. A very delicate and typical American ale. The plump bottle with screw cap is also very charming.
