12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow witha 1/2" white head. Some lacing which ringed glass all the way down. Not much initial aroma, although that might be the fault of my stuffy nose. This is a well hopped brew with floral undertones. Itís got hoppy bitterness yet sweet at the same time. Finish was clean with a minimal hoppy bitter aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2008 Poured a dark color with a small white head. Flavors were a little weak. Could use a little more hops to make it better. Easy on the palate and a medium-bodied. Very average beer.

Medium white shiny head. Light orange body. Intense medicinal tropical fruit hop aroma with papery citric notes. Powerful papery medicinal taste with tropical fruit hop notes and strong citricity. The medicinal flavour is really overpowering, and makes me like the beer a lot less. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry intensely citric and medicinal aftertaste. Not really very successful in my book. (0.355l bottle at Cardinal.)

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a hazy golden with almost no head and a salmiac-like hoppy aroma. The flavor is sweet malty with some hoppyness. Not bad, but not special too.

Cloudy orange color with a lot of bright white head. Nice malty aroma. Flavor is hoppy with a strong grapefruit twang, a little sweetness, and a metallic aftertaste. Not bad.

This is a very interesting drink - not your standard pale. Very sweet, almost belgian, malt body with a soda-cracker malt essence. Pronounced citrus component and well placed hop profile. Love the bottle art; its nice to have a couple Anchor bottles in the fridge - classes up the joint ;)

On tap at Taco Mac. Poured a very cloudy, light gold with a thick, tightly-bubbled, white head. The aroma was very fragrant: perfumy, floral, and citrusy - but more lemon than orange or grapefruit (a little odd for American hops). The flavor followed the nose - lots of hop flavor that was very perfumy and lemony. There malt has a light biscuit character. By mid-palate the citrus and flowers begin to turn bitter while a residual sweetness begins to grow from the malt profile. The finish is bittersweet with hop notes that continue to be floral and perfumy. Overall, an interesting and easy to drink pale ale, but I think there must be something funny about the keg it was served from as Iíve never had a cascade-ridden pale ale taste like this. Perhaps Iíll grab some bottles and re-rate.

bottle: poured a golden colour. Didnít detect much aroma. Malty hop flavor. Nice surprise of a beer for me, need to try it again.
