3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From batch 6N8. Starts with a nice crisp hop aroma. Pours a clear amber with a big white head that quickly fades down to about half a finger. Decent hop bite, with a bit of sweetness hiding behind it. Fairly short finish, but a very drinkable Pale.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Yellowish-orange pour with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, wet grass, and damp pale malt. Great, balanced flavor of tangerine, grapefruit rind, and sweet malt. Easily quaffable appealing to several palate types. A classic APA.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Technically this is an IPA but in a blind taste you wouldn’t guess it is. Definitely leans to the mild side with taste and aroma, but overall delicious! I could session this beer a lot easier than I could with the rest of the Anchor Catalog, but with the alcohol content at 5.9% I wouldn’t need to down a whole 6 pack to get a load on. Will definitely be drinking again

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden. Not much head - fizzy. Tastes of hops - herbs and citrus. Bitter, just enough to quench thirst. Light body, creamy.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This great American Ale comes with a grannie aroma and a golden brown colour. The light but crispy flavour on the tongue and lingering palate leaves it to be something to savour and enjoyed time and time again.

A very fine pale ale indeed, I rate it alongside Sierra Nevada APA as one of my favourites. Brilliantly balanced floral hop with an orangey malt taste. Nothing is too over powering but there is enough there to keep you interested. Brilliant!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber color, malty aroma with some yeast. Taste is similar with some dry hoppiness. My less favorite beer from Anchor until now.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden beer with a firm white foamy head. Medium carbonation. Citrus and hops int the aroma. A hoppy taste that never gets tehe upperhand because it’s balanced out with the citrus (oranges). Dry finish. Really good beer wich has two mayor tastes that are fully balanced. And the dry finish makes sure you will not pass on the next one because the taste has been enough. Great beer.

Aroma is grassy and citrus hops . Taste is bitter off the bat and finishes smoothly. Some light roastiness can be tasted. Body is clear and gold with a well retained head. The bittness is the dominating flavor here.

On tap in the sample room of the brewery. Nice and refreshing after climbing nonstop hills.
