This broad is excellent. She gives great head...a thick foamy creamy mountain of head. Her lips aare orangish yellow in color... her taste is similar to the single malt I had (and when I say had, I mean HAD) at Town Hall.

Slightly light amber color with huge, super creamy, and perfectly white head with above average retention and some Brussels’ lacing. No hazyness, perfectly clear. Taste: light-to-medium sweetness, medium bitterness, very light sourness. Flavors of malts, spices, some citrus, herbs, grapefruit, fruits. Palate: light-to-medium body, watery-to-oily texture, average carbonation, quite long dry finish of malts, hints of spices. Overall: excellent appearance, not very intense aromas or flavors. Hints of spices, malts, herbs, fruits, grapefruit, citrus. Quite long dry finish of malts, fruits, herbs, species. Good beer but not my favorite type of beer.

Bottle in the Twisted Lip, Middlesbrough. Pours golden with a big frothy off white head. The aroma has citrus. The taste has lts of lemon and lime citrus over a little caramel. Some spice too. Decent.

5.9%ABV. American pale ale. Poured out amber. 12ºSRM. Nose has nice nutty, wheat toast aromas. Light beery aroma. Mouthfeel light soap. Palate is toast, bread crumbs, wheat crackers. Hops are bitter with light pine and some brief resin. Herbaceous. Finish is medium, bitter.

Amber. Good aroma with malty caramel and citrusy hops, in addition to a bit of hoppy spice and flora. Moderately hoppy flavour, and a somewhat dry taste with a dry and bitter finish. Very little malt flavour. Medium body. Overall, a good pale ale. While tasty and refreshing, it is also somewhat light, and I prefer a more pronounced malt character and sweetness to balance the hops.

Liberty ale poured a slightly hazy golden body with a thin off white cap. not much lace left behind, mouthfeel was good with a hop bite. Aroma of citrus and slightly floral. Flavor was similar to the aroma with a nice hop tartness, and plesant aftertaste. Overall a pretty good offering from anchor.Originally rated on 10/10/08

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
