The most well-balanced pale ale I’ve had. Nice and light with just the right amount of hops.

Beer in the glass is amber, fully carbonated and mounted with a nice foamy white head. The liquid is amber and a bit hazy. Lots of carbonation coming from the bottom of the glass, as said. Very good looking beer. Looks fresh! The nose is fully Pilsner-like oriented. Smells like a summer pils, but with a touch of fruity sugar to it that is not unpleasant. This beer has a medium body and a surprisingly complex taste wich brings back the aromas of citrus and fruits with more power than expected. Con: the carbonation is still running in the stomach a little too much for me. The beer is interresting, well balanced and easily drinkable. To be enjoyed during summer time with a fresh plate of watermelon!

12oz bottle. No code date visible. Appearance: Hazy light golden. Nice white foam cap. Aroma: Bready with light citrus. Taste: Bready, sweet malt that gives way a light citrus a moderate bitterness. Bitterness is not nearly as sharp as Sierra Nevada Pale. Grapefruit is very prominent. Mouthfeel: Moderate body and carbonation. Finish: Leaves a pleasant grapefruit flavor and lingering bitterness. Overall: compared to Sierra Nevada Pale, this is a better balanced, less hop forward pale ale. A really nice easygoing pale ale. Could stand to benefit from a slightly stronger hop aroma.

Pours pale copper. A taste of hops, some fruit. A very mild bitterness that has a quick finish, mixture of sweet and bitter. A refreshing, slightly bubbly taste.

12oz bottle from Masuyo’s Liquor in Asagaya. Poured into an English pint glass. Beautiful golden amber color with an off-white soapy head. Great lacing throughout. Nice citrus and resin on the nose. Slightly earthy and malty on the palate along with the citrus notes mentioned before. Nice medium body and perfect dry finish. An all-around classic APA.
