FLnative80 (174), Orlando, Florida, USA Jan 3, 2008 Bottle. 12 fl. oz. A clear, golden color with smooth, creamy head. Light citrus, hoppy aroma. I’m also getting a little banana. Thin, soft texture with a nice, dry finish. Flavor strongly resembles the aroma but with a good amount of bitterness going down. Crisp, clean, and refreshing.
corby112 (314), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 3, 2008 Pours a clear, dark golden orange color ith a thin foam head that quockly dissolves. Clean and crisp aroma with hints of citrus and floral hops. Very crisp and clean tasting with a nice maltiness that balances out the floral hops. milljam (167), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Dec 2, 2008 A nice pale. Good hop profile...nice aroma of citrus and flavor of citrus/floral. Malt background is nice, although could have a bit more of a biscuit presence. mullet2007 (158), Newfoundland, Canada Nov 21, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow colour with a very thick creamy white head. Nose is a tiny bit soapy (The glass has never seen a drop of detergent either.) with plenty of hop presence. Mainly citrus, but with a little bit of resin. In the mouth the soapiness comes out as a bit more yeasty than soapy. Still lots of hop flavour present in the flavour though. A little bit more pine and resin in the mouth than in the nose, but still some citrus there too. It’s a bit malty in the back, but it doesn’t stand out much, it’s definitely balanced a little more towards the hops. Carbonation is pretty high, but suiting, and not sharp. It’s not exactly creamy, but that wouldn’t fit with the style too well anyway. Nice beer. Dmalone102 (114), Denver, Colorado, USA Nov 20, 2008 This was very hoppy, but well balanced. Nice biscuit flavor that compliments the cascades. It is very hoppy, but easy to drink. I really liked the liberty ale! CaryTheDude (489), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Nov 19, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Yummy, citrusy, balanced malt and hop nose and flavor. Fruitiness gets rotten in the finish and makes it not as refreshing as it should. Still excellent.
