Just had this on tap for the first time in New Orleans on St. Patty’s day. (one green beer was enough for me) This is even better on draft! Great classic american ale flavor with a rich hoppy aroma. The flavor is full and almost creamy. Golden brown with a respectable head.

Oct 10, 2008 Heavy head that lasts awhile. Rather active carbonation but dead and dull taste that was too malty/yeasty. sour grass, fermented grain, olive oil. dry finish. reminded me of the Steam beer, which I’m no fan of.

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle. Golden light colour. Good white head. Aroma of hops and malts with a touch of citrus. Great balanced. Sweet beer with a sophisticated grapefruit bitterness in the after taste.

Oct 3, 2008 medium off white head, light copper colour. citrus and pine in the nose. flavour is malty with plenty of hops, very enjoyable. Easy to drink but still very interesting, a great pale ale.

Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus and piney hops. Flavor was malty with a good hop bite. Good beer. Easy drinking.
