Cruzan59 (141), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 28, 2007 6-pack from Total Wine, River Edge, NJ...pours amber in color with a white head...smell is floral with mild citrus...taste is the same with some bitter hoppiness to it...another good offering from Anchor.
McGarnigle (164), Rochester, New York, USA Aug 28, 2008 Bottle with that distinctive Anchor shape. Nice copper color, slight haze, great head. Medium body. By today’s standards, it’s mild. West coast hops are balanced by bsicuity malts. Still worth drinking after all those years. Palidor19 (1275), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2008 pours a real copper color. it has a strong bite, with an real hoppy acidic taste and bitterness. DrDavid (153), , Vermont, USA Aug 23, 2008 (Bottle). Inviting hoppy aroma. Orange amber color, small white head. This is one delicious beer. Enough citrusy bitterness to get your attention, but an overall balance and crisp smoothness that makes it refreshing and highly drinkable. Wonderful stuff. flatmatt (74), Northville, Michigan, USA Aug 21, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours slightly orange gold with a medium white head. Aromas of citrus hops, pale malts, some sweetness and what I want to describe as some mild strawberry aroma. Flavor is solid, with pale malts and citrus and spicy hops. Little caramel in there, too. Overall an excellent APA with a nice, strong balance of hops and malts. hop_lover (114), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA Aug 20, 2008 This beer pours a hazy golden color with an off white head that is quite dissapating. The aroma is like a pilsner, with very faint aroma of fruity notes in the nose. The mouthfeel is light like a summer pilsner. Faint sweet malts in the nose. Some spicy Cascade notes in the flavor. Not too impressive. Not bad though. Guess a good lighter summertime beer. Good for a BBQ.
