Ceebs25 (48), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Sep 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Nothing too special with the aroma, but a pleasant unimposing citrus with an almost bready pale malt backing. Good looking head with the pour, stays around alright, but rather light looking, good amount of carbonation, straw-orange in color. I think this beer is very well balanced, nothing off-putting at all about the flavor, which is overall fairly standard apa affair with maybe a slightly more prominent bitter citrus hop linger at the end and aftertaste, which i enjoy. Really just a nice, solid, standard ale. kennydiaz (58), staten island, New York, USA Sep 2, 2008 YOU CAN TASTE THE HOPS AND IT IS A LITTLE BITTER BUT IT GOES DOWN SMOOTH. I RECOMMEND IT AND IT IS WORTH A TRY. McGarnigle (167), Rochester, New York, USA Aug 28, 2008 Bottle with that distinctive Anchor shape. Nice copper color, slight haze, great head. Medium body. By today’s standards, it’s mild. West coast hops are balanced by bsicuity malts. Still worth drinking after all those years. Palidor19 (1279), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2008 pours a real copper color. it has a strong bite, with an real hoppy acidic taste and bitterness. DrDavid (187), , Vermont, USA Aug 23, 2008 (Bottle). Inviting hoppy aroma. Orange amber color, small white head. This is one delicious beer. Enough citrusy bitterness to get your attention, but an overall balance and crisp smoothness that makes it refreshing and highly drinkable. Wonderful stuff.
