2.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle - pours pale yellow with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is very hoppy and spicy with a hint of creamy, caramel malt. The taste is hoppy again with a malty caramel hint and a slightly fruity aftertaste. I’m not a big fan of hoppy beers but this went down easy and was really refreshing.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from saveur-biere.com. Clear golden to amber body with a beautiful big, long-lasting, creamy, frothy white head, that leaves a lot of lacing. Fresh aroma of citrus, peach, tropical fruits, flowers, pine, burnt sugar, some grass, some spices, some bread notes. Taste follows this seemlessly, sweet, citrus, grass, burnt sugar, some bread, some tropical fruits, some malt. The medium body has an oily texture and finishes with a smooth, bitter-sweet citrus. A prototypical modern age Pale Ale, crisp, refreshing and easy to drink, but still fully aromatic and complex. Perfectly balanced and smooth, as almost everything from Anchor Brewing. I just love this beer!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared a 33cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours a lightly hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma is light hoppy, but not much of it. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is bitter with a dry finish. Overall, a nice beer but I was expecting more.

Bottle from Shawn. No aroma. Light mouthfeel. Typical Anchor taste. Not much hops. Not too bad but nothing I’d get again.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Batch 6NH (I think)
Diaphanous apricot with soapy white sheet. Smells herbal hops, green apple, oxidized malts, some metals, some grass. Taste biscuity with some bitterness, a little tea, some white grapefruit spritz and a little artificial pistachio flavor. Medium bodied with hi carb and an off dry finish. Meh, seems like a pretty good English IPA, but a poor American IPA.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Really surprised at how disappointing this was...it started off OK (barely) with decent PA flavor and aroma, but finished with a plastic/metallic taste that seemed to get worse as the bottle dragged on. The bottle was fresh, so I’m not sure what the problem was.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
BB2015, 355 ml bottle. Pours golden with nice white head. The head stays for a long time. Intense aroma of citrus, fruits, hints of caramel, floral. Taste: floral, bitter, citrus, hints of pine, caramel, sweetness.Nice bitter finish. Lively carbonation. Overall: really nice example of APA. I must admit, that I don’t really enjoy the this one as much as I hoped, although in theory everything is as it should be.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
