Bottle: pours a slightly cloudy, dark orangish-red, with a quickly disappearing head, slight aroma of cherries, taste is dark fruits, malty, with a dry and slightly bitter finish. I think I am starting to come around to this style as in the past I might not have given a beer like this as good of a rating.

Bottle. Pours deep bright amber, with a small tight head. laced well on the glass. nose is strong dark over ripe fruit, sweet and caramels. Taste is classic barley wine, thick sweet, heavy on the tongue, the alcohol is present and nicely warms the mouth. very nice mouth feel. finishes well.

Pours a semi hazey orange-amber colour with a small almond head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and toffee notes. Taste is creamy, rich and malted, biscuits bread and maple syrup flavors. Finishes very long with a crisp hop bite.

There is a lot going on with this beer banana, bread, nut, barley, this is the best barleywine i’ve tasted thus far. it was hard to find but i had a local store order me a case. the beer was sweet but not a cheap beer sweet it was a smooth sweet that blended in with the fruit.

10 ABV. It pours a deep amber beer with a nice creamy beige head. Mince pie, nutmeg, berries, plums and raisins accompanied by licorice in the nose. Beautiful lacing. Wonderful taste with notes of berries, mince pie and plums. Full bodied and perfectly balanced. The alcohol is well hidden. Surprisingly hoppy finish.
