Dark brown color. The aroma is a nice mix of nutmeg, cinnamon, and a mucho amounts of other spices. Somehow it works along with tones of dark chocolate and coffee. Not as complex when tasted. Mostly coffee like flavors, some dark chocolate, and minor tones of spice. Found the finish to have a metallic, coffee bitterness that wasn't particularly enjoyable.

Very dark and tastes like some stong gingerbread -- minus the sugar -- with bitter coffee taste at end.

tasty and pleasant. seems to be a good sipper. rich and malty with plenty of spices. this would probably go well with sugar cookies.

Ahhh, anise! Poured dark red-brown, with a thin light tan head. Strong spice (anise) aroma deterred my tastebuds. Some malt complexity in the flavor, including hints of chocolate and coffee, but the anise is too strong.

Bottle. This was a little better than past years, due to the fact that it was thinner and not as overpowering with the spices. This was one of the better OSA's that I have tried.

Pours a deep brown, with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet and spicey. Clove and cinnamon. Orange, caramel, and chocolate are also noticable. This was a nice seasonal brew.
