Pours a nice deep clear dark brown color. Aromas of spruce, pine, cinnamon, and a hint of cloves. Flavor has a nice chocolate taste to it, mixed with the nice array of spices.

Recieved as a bonus in a trade with Kevin. Poured with no head topping the dark brown and ruby body. The aroma was bread and ginger with cinnamon and apples. The taste is light and smooth with a base of caramel and milk chocolate. Then you get the spicy ginger and warm peaches backign up the base. Nicely done.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Taste shows definite signs of oxidation with heavy cardboard and celery notes present. If this is how these hold up over time, I’m amazed people are cellaring them.

Bottle. Thanks to Bob Mack for keeping this classic for me. Pours a mahogany brown with a thin dark tan head. Just a little carbonation. The aroma is full of raisins and malt. Very smooth taste, with a bit of malt and some mystery spices. Very clean on the palate. A nice beer, superior to the 2004, but I still look forward to 05’s version.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Beautiful, clear chestnut brown with a warm, reddish glow. Creamy, beige head. Lightly vinous and raisiny aroma. Surprisingly light body, notes of roasted malt and some indefinable spices. Lovely, almost exotic. 221005
