This is a great beer. Great strawberry aroma with a smooth head and a chocolatey/coffee aftertaste that lasts just long enough to make its point. I love this beer, and anything Anchor makes.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, 355ml. Pours with a large dark tan head with brilliant lacing, floating on top of a marvellously dark, almost black liquid with reddish tones. The aroma is rich: toffee and burnt sugar... especially a dark chocolate to cocoa powder aroma. Coffee, pure cocoa flavours perfectly balanced with the smooth oily creaminess, some smoky notes. Medium body. Very drinkable and smooth.
