Bottle, 35.5 cl. Pours a black colour with a pale brown head. Aroma is roasted with notes of coffee beans and chocolate (both sweet milk chocolate and darker and more bitter chocolate). Flavour is quite sour-sweet and roasted with notes of coffee beans, sweet milk chocolate, tart unripe blackcurrants. Dark bitter chocolate in the finish. A quite straightforward porter. At 16 Swedish kronors (~2.60 USD) a bottle this is a great QPR!

Jul 4, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours deep black, with minimal head, but nice lacing. Who knew such great a viscous beer could come in the neat little Anchor bottle?! Chocolate and coffee flavor and finish. Very drinkable for the style (at 5.6%, I guess that is reasonable). Will purchase again.

Jul 3, 2008 Pours with a rich head that lasts to the bottom of the glass. Has a creamy feel and an accompanying smooth roasted coffe and chocolate flavor and just a hint of bitterness. A really easy-to-drink porter.

Jul 3, 2008 Pours an almost syrupy dark brown. Has the aroma of caramel,
with a hint of chocolate, and a subdued burnt undertone. Has a semi sweet taste
of caramel, chocolate, and a little roastyness. This one is quite
mellow all around with a smooth finish. Very solid porter.

Taste is dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, some molasses, bitter hops.
Substantial Porter. Easy drinker for the style.

Jul 2, 2008 12oz bottle from BevMo! Mission Valley. Pours deep brown almost black with a small beige head that left great lacing. Very faint aromas of caramel and toasted malt. Not much to this beer, drinkable but, overrated.
