afireinside96 (341), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA May 5, 2008 pours amber with lots of carbonation, a dense two finger head sits on top. smells is light caramel and fruit. thin and lightly flavored, a bit of caramel with a good deal of hops in the finish (for the style). the head sticks around forever. nothing too exciting but i am glad that I got to sample a bit of this "history lesson".
douglas88 (640), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bottle bought at Sams in Chicago. Pours a clear gold with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma was kind of funky, almost like dirty socks. The taste was very smooth and easy; some light bitterness and a touch of malt. Not a bad beer, just really bland. Snojerk321 (904), San Diego, California, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle from BevMo! Mission Valley. An off-white, average-sized & rocky head formed over a very lightly-hazed, amber body. Aroma was grainy & nutty with well-roasted malt. Bitter flavor, somewhat weak and thin, with a tinny finish that also held burnt nuttiness. WeeHeavySD (1564), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Jun 29, 2008 Bottle I bought @ Bevmo a while back. 3.3 % wow this gonna prob suck. Orange pour with a bright white head. Nose is dead. Taste is pretty piss poor. Wow this is crappy if you ask me. cbkschubert (1520), Skyline, Arizona, USA Jun 23, 2008 22 oz. bottle courtesy of FlacoAlto - Pours a clear golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Light lacing. Aroma is big herbal hops, almost skunky. Flavor is esters and herbal hops. Light to medium body. The hops linger a bit on the tongue. I kinda like this one. Thanks Sebastian. Tweety (158), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Jun 15, 2008 Bomber. I actually really enjoyed this one, it’s not full of flavor, it’s not strong, but it’s not supposed to be. Refreshing and novel, a unique experience unseen in most breweries today. Very few American craft brewers buy into the belief that a beer that is low in alcohol can be good, but this one was. Thin-bodied doesn’t always mean bad, just usually in the form of macro-swill.
