3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 rampmaster (642) - Alden, USA - APR 30, 2011
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1pt. 6oz bottle into an imperial pint glass. The neck label has a short description of the beer but there is no freshness date or abv%.
Appearance: The body has a light amber to orange amber color with good clarity and some visible carbonation. From the pour I got an average size head (about two fingers) with a just off white color. This head fades slowly and makes some nice lacing on the glass as I drink.
Smell: It light overall and has a light pale biscuit like maltiness with some mild grassy/herbal hops. (This was not what I was expecting at all.)
Taste/Palate: The flavor closely matches the smell. It starts with a thin pale malt with light bready and biscuity notes. This is then quickly over run by a slightly citrusy, almost astringent, grassy hop character. It finishes with this acidic bitterness hanging on to the tongue. The body has a light and fairly thin feel with plenty of scrubbing carbonation.
Notes: For a beer based off the second running of there Barleywine this was not what I was expecting and not a beer that I would seek out again.

Bottle. Clear light orange pour with a large white head. Nose is kind of off-putting - kind of cardboard like. Thinner palate. Taste is grassy hops, and other than that is fairly mild. Wasn’t really digging this one.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 jandd1983 (928) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAR 25, 2012
It poured a golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was grainy pale with some grassy hops. The flavor was pale and light hoppy notes. Not what was expected as a bitter.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Syzzer (307) - Oregon, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Strangely and disappointingly shallow beer. It had a magnificent frothy white head that lingers. It has an amber/peach hue. But then you smell thin beer alcohol... the flavor is watery with slight barley. 3-j 2.5-B
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 johnluvsbeer (120) - Arizona, USA - MAR 15, 2012
Golden amber color-good carbonation level-has a decent head. Somewhat hoppy aroma.Bitterness is right upfront with minimal malt. A bit unbalanced in my opinion. Average mouthfeel.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 WVHouseofBeer (644) - Kissimmee, Florida, USA - FEB 15, 2012
Light aromas of grass and grains. Pours a clear orange color with a white head. Flavors of grass, grains, some caramel and fruit. Fuller body than I was expecting but the finish leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth. Overall......eh, I gues I’m glad I tried it.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 PapaSkeetSkeet (588) - Corvallis, Oregon, USA - FEB 8, 2012
A small beer! cool. 3.3% abv! I love it. Simple hazy happy gold compliments Belle and Sebastian well. fizzy, ok head retention. Aroma of moderate caramel, and a flat grass hops smell. Flavor is dry grain lightly bitter grassy leaf hops. It’s good, light on alcohol, yet almost medium-bodied and fairly flavorful with hops/grain and a caramelly aroma. As it warms, the flavor (and the hops in particular) become a more astringent and less enjoyable.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 snapple2 (10) - - JAN 18, 2012
This beer is exactly what I thought of and heard about "Small beer" a low alcohol and lightly bodied beer brewed with the sparged mash of Anchor Foghorn. It was more bitter than I expected but not overly so. I thought that it is a good example of the "small beer" style.
