3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear bright copper with ample head and decent lacing. Smells like fresh wheat bread with a hint at lemon. Pretty well-balanced- malt forward with light hops to back it up. Goes down easy.

cereal, caramel, citrus, grass, leaves, bubblegum, amber, orange, clear, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, creamy, lively, bitter
Copper amber with short lived white foam. Grassy cereal aromas dominate with some citrus. Tastes a bit grainy with slight bitterness overcoming the caramel. Light in body with a creamy mouthfeel. Long lasting subtle bitter finish. With all the hype around this being the trade marked steam beer, I somehow expected better. This is a good beer to be sure, but nothing special.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This classic enters my glass with a style, looking nice pure clear amber with a finger of bubbly white foam. Aroma has some rubber, bit of malt and a hint of caramel. First sip also displays some hop bitterness, body feels relatively strong for the 5% that is packed in this beer. Smooth and edges are rounded, some grassy bitterness lingering for a while after the sip has long gone. Would like to try this more fresh and from draft. Goes great with some simple cheese.

Beautiful pour and pleasant malty, be bready aromas but flavors are quite overrated in my book.
