This is a nice mild beer that feels great after you have had one of your teeth pulled. It looked like beer smelled like beer and tasted like a beer. Never been to San Fran but when I get there I’ll be sure to visit the Anchor Steam. I cant chew Big Red today but A nice certs breath mint is in order before I take my daily haul to the bank. God BlessBeer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear medium amber with a touch of ruby. World Class head volume, lacing and retention.
Nice light nose of caramel and biscuit.
Heavy light bodied with a touch of creamy texture. Above normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice burst in the finish.
The flavor profile is reasonably intense, fairly well balanced and slightly complex. It begins with a moderate earthy bitterness that slowly fades to a mild caramel and biscuit sweetness. The middle has a slight lemon zest like citrus note. The finish is a slow fade of earthy and zest bitterness that lingers.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer pours a transparent amber color with a thick creamy white head that stayed throughout the entirety of the beer and left great lacing around the glass. There is quite a bit of carbonation bubbles floating to the top.The aroma barley, grassy, some breadiness. The taste is roasted barley malts with a nice hop presence mixed in there as well. The mouthfeel is on the medium side and it finished rather dry. This is a great beer worth a try.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0,355 l bottle, best before 5/2016. Clear, light amber with a small, frothy or creamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Weak aroma of nuts, raisins and toffee. Sweetish, malty taste of nuts, raisins, toffee and honey. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Short, slightly bitter and pleasant finish. Not a real explosion of aroma and taste but highly quaffable and tasty. Very nice!
