BuckeyeBoy (1639), Boise, Idaho, USA May 31, 2008 Bottle Pours out a hazy pale gold topped with a san head. Aroma of malt and light wheat. tast more of the malt some wheat. I wish it had a little more wheat on it. Not bad after I just mowed the lawn. Pwn3d (1036), Manhattan, New York, USA May 31, 2008 bottle. very unenjoyable beer. pours light, watery, lacking any flavor. Below par for a wheat beer. gws57 (1131), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA May 28, 2008 Had this one bottled in North Aurora, thanks Jim! Hazy . Wheaty, citrusy nose. Balanced with some hoppy bitterness, with very little of the typical wheat ale fruitiness. I am not sure why this one is called a wheat ale because it has almost no characteristics of any wheat ale that I remember having. It’s not a bad beer, it’s not a great example of the style. verymerrymonk (255), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 23, 2008 Pours a clear gold body with a nice white head. Light hop citrus, but little else. Refreshing, but not what I think of in a wheat. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA May 23, 2008 Poured a light yellow with a good head. It was light and refreshing with wheat flavors and some malt. A good hot, hot summer day refresher but that is about it. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA May 23, 2008 12 oz. single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Pours a light amber/orange color with not a lot of head. Aroma is light hops. Taste is yeast and malt, but a bit passive and weak. I was a bit disappointed with this one. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA May 21, 2008 12 oz bottle. The body is clear orange with no head. The aroma is nothing. The taste is pretty smooth - not much flavor. Some notes of fruit. jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA May 19, 2008 Summer Beer tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. This was pretty good. More Hops than I would have imagined for a wheat. Which makes it stand out for me.
