smcd (366), USA Oct 2, 2006 Aromas are very subtle. Carbonic and spicy. Hazy gold. Nice, tart flavors. Crisp and refehing. Medium-light palate. RedEft (131), Wichita, Kansas, USA Oct 2, 2006 Medium gold with a white head that is not nearly so impressive as the label claims, despite an aggressive pour. Smells like a lager, to be honest. Watery at the front and finishing with a slightly fruity/weakly bitter finsh with no lingering tastes. Certainly light as the label claims. Not bad if this is what you’re after. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 30, 2006 Bottled. Well-carbonated, clear, copper-colored beer with a small off-white head. Weak but pleasant aroma with caramel, hops and some fruityness. Caramel and fruity hops in the flavor. Mild bitterness in the finish, and a medium body. (060930) sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 29, 2006 looks something like a pale lager with a bit more color. closer to orange. reasonably substantial head, though, if it was a pale lager. still, this looks sickly up to the light. while pouring i seriously thought i smelled lager. up close i actually get some sweet malt aroma that almost takes me back to salzburg. still, my mouth is not watering. taste is much more agreeable than a pale lager. it’s an ale, some light hops. just so trememndously light in flavor. despite its rating i thought anchor generally produced decent beers. faith no more. so glad i only bought a single of this gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA Sep 24, 2006 From bottle. Light orange/yellow with minimal off white head. Nose is light hops and sourish malt. Flavor follows. This one’s light on the palate but really doesn’t bring much else to the table. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Sep 24, 2006 Draft at San Diego Brewing Company. Bright Yellow with white head. Not much to the aroma. Some fresh biscut flavor, but not much else. Wheat was evident, but not up front. Not really very exciting. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Sep 19, 2006 Bottle. Sharp slightly fruity hops. Moderately refreshing but also thin and unexciting. not great. Theis (3617), Denmark Sep 15, 2006 Bottle 35,5cl at home - alone. It is in the galss right now. Light yellow - white head. A very weak beer - watery finish. Some malty (wheat) aroma and taste. And that is it. Maybe it works very cold in a hot garden.
