swirl (267), collingswood, New Jersey, USA May 17, 2005 This beer poured a pale golden with a white head. Strong aroma of fruit maybe apricots. Also there seems to be a slight honey scent as well. The taste has some very strong fruitiness, again apricots, but with something more. A good presence of hops makes this a rather crisp and refreshing beer. Definately a great beer for the summer months. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA May 15, 2005 Nice aroma, otherwise a basic beer. The $9 price tag isn’t justified, but it’s definitely drinkable. Not much here. Wheat? More like water. Jine (889), Nutley, New Jersey, USA May 8, 2005 Bottle 5.7.05
This kind of falls in with all the other summer beers. Its good to drink on those hot days...except right now where I am its only about 60 during the day. Just a little early. Pretty average, a little grassy, yeah...Definite American Wheat RateandPillage (417), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 7, 2005 Pours murky yellow with small white head. Haylike grassy aroma. Uninteresting american wheat beer flavor. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 27, 2005 Bottle. kaggie97 sent me this one. Thanks Kevin! Pours a hazy golden with small head and decent lace. Nose is of straw, grass, and light hop. This one sort of reminds me of jumping around in our barn when I was a kid, then rolling in the freshly mowed lawn clippings. Interesting in flavor as well as the aroma. Refreshing for sure, with maybe a hint of smoke? Not like German wheat beers, but I do like it. No real spiciness to this one. I really can’t figure out why I like it... light malt taste that flows to a very slight hoppiness at its finish. Medium light body with a sparkling carbonation. An Ok beer. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA Apr 25, 2005 Glear golden color. Thin dissapating head. Malts in the aroma. Basic wheat beer with malts and a slight hint of citrus. Not much to this one. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic Apr 8, 2005 typically bland american wheat beer. aroma of not much other than rolled oats and vanilla, yellow, quite thin and with a faint wheaty taste that goes nowhere Tonsk45 (17), El Cajon, California, USA Apr 4, 2005 very light golden color, not much of a head. subtle aroma. a little bit of a wheaty finishnot the best wheat, but still pretty good
