dwaggs2 (534), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Apr 12, 2009 Bottle. Not a whole lot to this beer. Poured a light yellow color with a little white head. Aroma was bread and malts. Flavor was yeast, wheat and water. For a light summer beer this one is a little above average, but nothing to special. lumpsowers (235), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Apr 12, 2009 Copper pour, low head, some lacing. Bready aroma. Fizzy, not much taste, some earthy citrus tones, with slight apple or white wine after taste. Refreshing, slightly bitter citrus hops.

Sweetish wheat malty flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a sweetish malty finish. Cavie (1318), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 4, 2009 A nice summer wheat with a dry, bitter finish. Was quite refreshing and would compliment any hot day. mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Mar 3, 2009 On tap at the Anchor restaurant in the San Francisco airport. Anchor Summer Beer is a clear golden / yellow color with a white airy head. The aroma is soft with a fully wheat base. The flavor is very drinkable, but nothing to be over excited about. The finish is quite crisp with more wheat characteristics. This is an enjoyable summer ale beer.
