3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear pale yellow color, puffy and sturdy head. Medium carbonation. The lace is scant.
Aroma is mild, tart with a hint of green apples. Just using a two-row barley makes such a huge difference, even for a lager. Has a perfumey hop presence and a smooth, bready malt. Actually excellent for style.
Flavor is dry, yeast-laden malts. There is a certain English tartness. The yeast is very prevalent, but only acts as an accent. The hop is understated, strictly a bittering agent. This would be a great gateway for Bud Light drinkers to have something with some flavor.
A very dry feel. This is a smooth, English-style lager that has a sweet flavor, with no corn or rice to be found, praise Jesus.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(bottle) clear light amber colour with a small white head; strong aroma of noble hops to start with, then some bread, hint of stewed fruit; dry flavour with a medium long light bitter finish; certainly better than the mass produced lagers

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled sample. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of biscuits, a bit of caramel, and earthy hops. Clean toasted malts rule the palate, but are backed by more mild caramel and firm leafy hops. Medium bodied with a solid amount of bitterness. Sessionable stuff.

Brewdog Camden. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth with good fine minerally carbonation. Light bready malt with a touch of cream. Slight nutty vibe. Little floralness. Whisper of hops. Light finish with more sweet bready malts. Easy going if slightly soft lager.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear golden with a thin rocky white head. Aroma is pretty plain--biscuity cracker bland malt. The flavor has a nice calm crispness, with a toast and clean blonde maltiness, a bit of cracker, and a clean slightly noble hoppy finish. Boring, but not bad for what it is.

Bottle at Bishops Arms, Jönköping. Clear golden beer with a decent white head. Malty fruity aroma, glue notes, cream, citrus, bready. Hoppy flavor, malty, bready, fruity notes, some glue. Not really to my liking.
