3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Raley’s in Vacaville, CA. This is top notch for a lager. Most are jjust a corny, grainey mess. This had a decent hop presence and had a sweet and fruity flavor. Not my style so had to knock it down a bit on the overall

Anchor makes great beers. This is not a great beer, but they have done about as much as you can with a simple lager. Decent.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 12 OZ. bottle into a tulip glass.
Aroma- has a strong sweet aroma with a backdrop of grass and hops
Appearance- pours a golden orange color with a thick white head.
Taste- Crisp barley flavored beer with some spice thrown in.
Palate- a dry beer with that is medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall- a really good beer from Anchor, not as good as their Anchor Steam or Porter offerings but worth a try.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355ml Bottle from Beers of Europe (£2.19):
This one was a very nice Anchor offering, not their best by any means but certainly not their worst either, a great pale lager that comes out miles ahead of the run-of-the-mill macro crap. The clean and crisp taste with the hints of citrus were excellent and the beer was a very easy one to drink; a beer well worth picking up.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I like the bottle and label this lager came in. The color of the lager was a nice golden color and a nice white head to it. I’m not a fan of overly hoppy beer and this one was just about right.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of light honey, sweet cereal, straw, and a hint of grass. It pours a transparent gold with a two finger white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is some decent webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of sweet cereal notes and a touch of honey. The finish has moderate straw, light grass, and a hint of herbal notes. It’s light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, a solid lawn mower beer.
